Thoughtfully Bred Weimaraners on Vancouver Island
At Brio, we breed infrequently and thoughtfully, with a focus on health, temperament, breed type, and versatility. Our dogs are cherished family companions who also excel in the show ring and performance sports.
Our breeding dogs complete all health testing required for the Weimaraner OFA CHIC program. We raise our puppies using Puppy Culture and offer lifelong support to their families.
Brio is home to Canada’s only two Master Tracking Champion Weimaraners—an achievement that reflects the working ability and versatility we value.
Is a Weimaraner Right for You?
Weimaraners are affectionate, intelligent, energetic dogs who want to be part of everyday family life. For an active household, they can be wonderful companions for outdoor adventures, training, and dog sports.
They need daily exercise, mental stimulation, and patient, consistent training. Their strong attachment to their people also means learning to settle and spend time alone deserves attention from puppyhood.
We’re happy to talk honestly about life with a Weimaraner and help you decide whether the breed—and a Brio puppy—is the right fit for your home.
