New AKC Champion - Ocean

Aug 2024

Ocean finishes her American Kennel Club Championship in Enumclaw Washington from the bred by class!

Ocean was Winners Bitch all three days of the Sammamish Kennel Club show, and Best of Winners on Monday.

Ocean was Winners Bitch and Best of Winners at the Rainier Sporting Dog Group show on Wednesday for a major and Winners bitch for a 4 point major at Olympic Kennel Club show on Friday! Among these wins we had many Best Bred By Exhibitor in breed wins, and many owner handler breed wins!

New AKC Champion - Reef

August 2024

Reef finishes his American Kennel Club Championship in Enumclaw Washington with Chandler Becker!!

Reef was Best of Winners & Best of Opposite Sex, including a major win 2/3 days at the Sammamish Kennel Club show Saturday and Sunday!

He was Winners Dog at Rainier Sporting Dog Group show and Winners Dog for a 5 point major at the Western Washington Weimaraner Club Specialty on Thursday, and also received a Judge's Award of Merritt! He was Winners Dog & Best of Winners for another 5 point Major at the Western Washington Weimaraner Club specialty on Friday! Way to finish in style! Thank you Chandler!

New CKC Conformation Champion - Rosc

August 2024

Rosc (littermate to Ocean & Reef) finishes his CKC Conformation Championship from the Bred by class at the Campbell River Dog Fanciers show in August!! Huge congratulations to Rosc's co-owners Tom and Taryn on their first Champion Weimaraner! We couldn't ask for better owners and are incredibly grateful to Tom and Taryn for allowing Rosc the opportunity to shine!

Rosc, Best of Winners from the bred by exhibitor class at the Weimaraner Association of Canada National Specialty, under Judge Shellie Marshall of Australia!! A very impressive win at a national for my home bred boy! Congratulations to Rosc's co-owners Tom and Taryn for this very special win!!!

Group 3 - Ocean

July 2024

Ocean BOB and a Group 3 in a massive sporting group at the Victoria City Kennel Club show with Michelle Yeadon, under Judge Mark Johnston of Australia! This win puts Ocean very close to finishing her CKC Grand Championship at 15 months of age!

While Ocean was awarded BOB, Reef was also awarded Best of Opposite with handler Kyle D Bull, and Rosc Best of Winners with me! Incredible proud breeder moment, when all 3 of these littermates were selected for the top wins in a quality lineup of weimaraners!!

Reef and handler Kyle D Bull pick up an incredible Best of Breed win under breed specialist and Judge Mr. Kerry Lee of Australia, who has been in Weimaraners for 20 years! Thank you Judge, and Kyle for this honourable win in a lovely lineup of quality Weimaraners.

GROUP WINNING Ocean! Our beautiful Ocean picks up a lovely Group 1, breeder & owner handled, under Judge Ron Mahon at the Merritt Kennel Club show! Thank you Ron Mahon for this incredible win!

New CKC Urban Tracking Dog title - Reef

Reef and I racked up a UTD pass under Judge Donna Brinkworth and apprentice Judge Deb Ve on our way home from a 16 day adventure to Missouri for the WCA Central Futurity. A very impressive pass for this young boy!

New CKC Urban Tracking Dog title - Ocean

April 20, 2024

Super proud to report that 12 month old Ocean earned her CKC Urban Tracking Dog title at just 12 months of age!! This is an incredibly impressive pass for a young dog! Ocean had a very contaminated track, including a loose dog, but despite the difficult, she rose to the challenge and passed with ease! Way to go baby girl!

Dual Field Dog Junior passes - Ocean & Reef

Just days after their 1st birthday, both Ocean & Reef notched 2/2 CKC Field Dog Junior (FDJ) passes, demonstrating steadiness and style, while picking up many compliments from Judges along the way. Both show great aptitude for field work!

New CKC Conformation Champion - Reef

March 2, 2024

11 month old Reef finished his CKC show Championship under Judge Ben Wasylyshen of Manitoba at Victoria City Kennel Club show in March. Reef was also Best of Winners and Best Puppy In Breed at the Vancouver Island Pointing Dog Specialty show under Judge Barbara Heal.

Littermate Ocean picked up a couple Grand Championship points, both breeder, owner, handled.

New CKC Tracking Champion and Master Tracking TDX pass for Bria!!

Bria passed her Tracking Dog Excellent (TDX) test on October 15, 2023 finishing her CKC TRACKING CHAMPIONSHIP and just 2 years old in Armstrong BC, under Judge Norma Schaffer. Obtaining a tracking championship is an incredible achievement and at such a young age is extraordinarily impressive! To say we are proud of this talented young girl is an understatement!

To top it off, 2 weeks later Bria passed her second TDX towards her Master Tracking Championship under Judge Greg Martin from Alberta, running a complex TDX in record time. This young pup is well on her way to becoming Canada's second Weimaraner to earn her Master Tracking Championship.. right behind her dam and our girl Breyer!

Way to go baby girl! We love you Bri Bri!!

Best Baby Puppy In Show - Reef

4 month old Reef notched a Best Baby Puppy in Show win at the Alberni Valley Kennel Club Show in August 2023. This little dude attached much attention from spectators, competitors and Judges!

4 month old Ocean was awarded not one, but 3 back-to-back Best Baby Puppy In Show wins at the Campbell River Dog Fanciers show in August 2023!! This little super star is set to have an amazing show and performance career!

New CKC Urban Tracking Dog Excellent title for Bria-

18 month old puppy Bria put on an exceptional performance, completing her UTDX title under Judge Maureen Fielding on Nov 13, 22. This is an incredible accomplishment for such a young pup. Bria showed an exceptional level of commitment, accuracy, and skill. No doubt this little one will be tracking her way to a CKC MTCH like her momma Breyer.

October 30, 2022 - One for the history books...

Breyer became the first Weimaraner in Canada to earn a CKC Master Tracking Championship!!

Breyer completed her second TDX pass under Judge Steve Shepherdson to earn her MTCH after completing her second UTDX pass in April 2022.

Breyer is now officially known as: CH Can MBPIS GCH MTCH Trax Believe IN B RA TD Can RN FDJ WDJ

We could not be more fortunate to have Breyer as the foundation bitch for our kennel- Brio Weimaraners, she is a once in a lifetime kind of dog, who shines with natural ability, intelligence, and an eagerness to work in partnership with me as her owner, handler and trainer.

Breyer is a suburb example of the Weimaraner breed, exuding intelligence, versatility, and is structurally correct per our breed standard. She is a dog that can truly withstand the job she was bred for and looks gorgeous doing it.

17 month old Bria sniffed her way to a new Urban Tracking Dog title at the UVIC campus on Oct 1, 22 under Judge JoAnne McLeod. This little one in tracking along in her dam Breyer's footsteps beautifully.

July 2022 - 2 weeks after completing her AKC Championship 15 month old Bria completed her CKC Championship under Judge Manuel Queijeiro.

July 2022 - 15 month old Bria completed her AKC Championship in Puyallup Washington under Judge Ann F Yuhasz.

AKC Major Show wins

May 2022 - Bria and I hit the road to Spokane and Coeur d'Alene to compete in AKC conformation shows. 12 month old Bria went Winners Bitch and Best of Winners 4 shows in a row, earning 4 - 3 Point Major wins towards her AKC Show Championship. At 12 months of age Bria has 14/15 points needed for her AKC Show Championship. Thank you to Judges: Timothy Catterson, Jacqueline Stacy, Danelle Brown, & Del Richards for awarding our girl so highly.

Master Tracking Championship UTDX pass for Breyer

April 24 2022 - 3 year old Breyer notched another UTDX (Urban Tracking Dog Excellent) pass towards her Master Tracking Championship at the FPOTC test in Courtenay. The UTDX test represents the hardest level of Tracking, requiring the dog to track a minimum 3 hour old track through urban settings. This is Breyer's second consecutive pass since earning her Tracking Championship in the fall and she is well on her way to being the first Weimaraner to complete a Master Tracking Championship title.

April 2022 - Breyer notched her first CKC Field Dog pass with a beautiful run, 3 stylish finds, and lovely feedback from our Judge.

April 2022 - Bria Finished her Field Dog Junior (FDJ) title on her 11 month birthday. This young pup is loaded with natural field ability, has super style on point and an impressive run. Bria earned her title with 3 consecutive passes with lovely scores.

March 2022 - 10 month old Bria earned her Tracking Dog (TD) title in a super speedy 5 minutes. She did a beautiful detailed job and found her glove! She shows tremendous potential just like her dam Breyer.

March 2022 - 10 month old Bria picked up a CKC show point major at the Victoria City Kennel Club show under Judge Dr. Michael Woods. This pup is well on her way to her CKC show Championship.

January 2022 - 8 month old Bria made her AKC show debut at Portland and Puyallup shows, including this Major win of Winners Bitch/ Best of Winners. Thank you Judge James G Reynold.

January 2022 - Our beautiful Breyer picked up several more AKC Grand Championship show points during our trip to Portland and Puyallup shows, including this major Best of Opposite Sex win with professional handler Michelle Yeadon. Tracking Championship!!

November 2021 - HUGE day for Team Breyer! 3 year old Breyer and I completed her UTDX (Urban Tracking Dog Championship) title today at the FPOTC test to complete her TRACKING CHAMPIONSHIP!! I am so grateful to be Breyer's partner in all of what we have and continue to accomplish together. She is truly as versatile and talented as she is beautiful. Huge thank you to my dear friend and Tracking Buddy Lesley Kenyon for all those practice tracks and our Judge Jo Anne McLeod.
