Brio Weimaraners is a CKC Registered Kennel located on Vancouver Island, BC. We pride ourselves in purposefully breeding quality, intelligent, trainable, health tested dogs, with sound temperaments, who are suitable for conformation, performance, hunting, and companion homes.

At Brio Weimaraners we compete in CKC and AKC Conformation, Obedience, Rally, Tracking and Field events. We are home to Champion, Grand Champion, Master Tracking Champion Weimaraners who also hold upper level Obedience, Rally, Field, and Tracking titles.

We are members in good standing of the Weimaraner Club of America, Weimaraner Association of Canada, Canadian Kennel Club, and American Kennel Club. We abide by the code of ethics and conduct of these associations. 

We are members of the Vancouver Island Pointing Dog Club and Forbidden Plateau Tracking and Obedience Club.

Preserving the versatility of the Weimaraner breed is of upmost importance to us, our goal is to breed beautiful dogs who can also meet the demands of performance events. Our dogs achieve top scores in field events as well as major awards in the show ring.

 

A little bit about the people behind Brio Weimaraners.

My name is Krystal, I am the owner, trainer, and breeder behind the Brio Weimaraner name. My husband Mark and I live on a beautiful acreage on Vancouver Island with our 6 Weimaraners. We both work in Health Care - I am a Registered Nurse and Mark is a Paramedic. We breed infrequently, mainly to produce our next competitive prospect. I train and handle our dogs in all performance venues and with that bring a significant amount of experience and expertise in guiding new and experienced Weimaraner owners. A Brio puppy comes with lifetime breeder support and I love mentoring individuals to achieve performance titles with their dogs. We have a profound love of the Weimaraner breed and all of our dogs, those we keep in our home and those we place, are cherished members of our family. We are very selective about where we place our puppies.​​
